Privacy and Security at SSHA

SSHA’s business is the electronic processing of information, including personal health information. The health care sector and every person in Ontario trust SSHA to protect the privacy and security of its information. Ensuring the protection of this information is an essential responsibility at SSHA. Our commitment is that only those authorized to access health information – such as doctors, pharmacists or case managers – actually view and update it.

SSHA works with our partners in the health care system to ensure that everyone who uses our products and services is trained and follows the highest standards to achieve our shared responsibility of privacy and security protection. SSHA fosters a culture of confidentiality internally, and collaborates with our health care sector partners wherever possible to achieve end-to-end privacy and security.
